The idea
The sommelier reads the table and guides you towards a bottle you would not have chosen on your own. The wine, along with the cheese pairing, becomes a special part of the evening.
Then the night ends, you’re too busy laughing amongst friends to pause and meticulously write down everything you’ve just experienced. You loved it, but by the next morning, you have already forgotten the name on the label, or how to say it out loud. Efter Smag holds onto it for you with one photograph. Saved for future reference, without intruding on the evening.
How it works
The whole point is to not pull you out of the evening. One photograph is the entire job at the table. Everything else happens on its own.
Snap the label, the wedge, the table. That is all you do while you are still in it. No forms, no stars, no scoring.
